Anytime Costumes has been online since 1999, but has been in business since 1975!. They are members of the BBB (Better Business Bureau), Safe Shopping Network, and their website is "hackersafe" tested daily. If those details were not enough, Anytime Costumes has a MASSIVE selection, and orders placed before 2pm (EST) are shipped the same business day. We found the site somewhat hard to navigate due to all of the categories, but the search function was great. The items have a very good descriptions, and the image quality is the best we have seen on any costume site. We wish they offered free shipping however. This is the best choice if you are on the East Coast!

We like Costume Craze because they have a very easy to navigate website, and a good amount of information available for each product. We also like that they have flat rate shipping prices, even on the express shipping. Another great feature of Costume Craze is that they will ship your order the same day, if they receive it by 4pm, mountain time. Best if you are west of the Mississippi.

Fright Catalog has a huge costume selection, as well as movie props and even special effects items that you would see at a haunted house. We loved the theme of the site and that it was strictly horror/fright/Halloween oriented and the huge selection of costumes and accessories, but found the site hard to navigate at times and we wish that they had either flat rate or free shipping.

We liked that Half Price Costumes had an easy to use website and free shipping, but they could use better descriptions on the products.

Costume City
Costume City has been selling costumes online since 2002. We found the navigation slightly confusing on Costume City, but thought the search box worked quite well. The customer support was great, and was even available at night over the weekend. We thought Costume City had an above average amount of mascot style costumes, which is great if you are looking for a really high end costume. The one thing we did not like was that we could not calculate the shipping cost without checking out. Costume City will ship orders the same day when the order is received by Noon (PST). Best in the Pacific Northwest!

HalloweenMart.com is one of the older costume shops online. HalloweenMart.com has been around since 1994 and first appeared online in 1995! The site could use some more information with better descriptions and more pictures per costume. Many of the items are shown as coming soon, so item stock may be an issue. One thing we like about HalloweenMart is that they have an "adult costume section" called "Adult Eyes Only", which has some hilarious costumes. I would have liked to see this behind an age verification screen however. This is a great choice if you live in the South West.
